Furthermore, Dan Hurley’s dad, Bob, is a Hall of Fame high school coach and former head coach of the now-closed St. Anthony High. Similarly, his elder brother, Bobby, is a former professional player and the head coach of the Arizona State Sun Devils. 

The UConn head coach is a graduate of St. Anthony High School. After graduating from high school, the talented coach enrolled at Seton Hall University in 1991 and graduated in 1996.

Dan Hurley’s son, Danny is the firstborn of his parents. He is also a Seton Hall graduate. Danny is an aide of Governor Phil Murphy, the 56th governor of the Garden State.

Meanwhile, Dan’s youngest son, Andrew, has followed in his footsteps and is also passionate about basketball. Since 2020, the youngest Hurley joined the University of Connecticut and has been active in the university’s basketball team.
