The late rapper was born Ermias Asghedom on August 15, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, USA. However, several sources also state his real name is Airmiess Joseph Asghedom.

Nipsey Hussle’s father, Dawit Asghedom, was an Eritrea native who fled to America from war. He often taught his late son about African culture and took him to visit Eritrea in 2004.

Nipsey Hussle Was Gunned Down

The late rapper was shot multiple times in front of his store on March 31, 2019. He received gunshot wounds in his chest, abdomen, back, etc. Although he was rushed to the hospital, he passed away at 3:25 pm.
