Late Tim White was a former professional wrestling referee and producer famous for his controversial acts in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). After a 24-year tenure with the WWE, White was released from the position, following which he appeared in some documentaries about wrestling stars. The famous former referee sadly passed away on June 19, 2022.

After reinjuring his shoulder in 2004 at Wrestlemania XX, White was forced to end his refereeing career. That made him a significant part of the Lunchtime Suicide Series, where he fired a shotgun on himself off-screen. Since he was such a popular and controversial character in the wrestling world, people are curious to know about Tim’s legacy. Also, we will be discussing his net worth, family, and love life.

Immediate Success Early On

Timothy Rhys White was born on March 25, 1954, to American parents in Cumberland, Rhode Island, USA. Unfortunately, the former referee had not revealed any details about his dad and mom. He seemed like a secretive person as he was not very active on social media.

White started his career as a handler of the legendary late French wrestler André René Roussimoff aka Andre the Giant. He worked for the wrestler as an agent and gained a lot of experience in WWE. Timothy also worked as a part-time referee during that period.

Likewise, the late WWE officer transitioned to becoming a full-time referee and started featuring in more pay-per-views and WWF television tapings. Tim was also the referee for the legendary Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Mankind at King of the Ring on June 28, 1998. Being a part of such an iconic match in wrestling history helped him massively in the early days of his career.

Tim White Net Worth And Career

With a career that stretched 25 years, White took over several positions. He was also involved in several storylines that made him hugely popular in the WWE world. From all these, he might have garnered significant wealth and fortune. Hence, Tim White’s net worth must have been immense.

White was going strong in his wrestling career, but he sustained a shoulder injury during a pay-per-view match between Triple H and Chris Jericho in 2002. After returning two years later for a Wrestlemania match, he reinjured his shoulder during the last three counts of the Jericho-Christian bout. That resulted in him being forced to end his refereeing career.

Nevertheless, the late WWE official must have made considerable earnings in his prime. Since most experienced referees earned $250,000, White’s salary must have been around that range. Hence, Tim White’s net worth must have increased during his time in WWE.

However, the retirement didn’t mark the end of White’s appearance in WWE as he made a controversial on-screen feature at the Armageddon pay-per-view on December 18, 2005. He was later interviewed by a SmackDown! reporter inside his bar, where he drunkenly explained how the Wrestlemania match ruined his life.

A few moments later, Tim took out a shotgun from under the bar and fired the gun off-screen. The act of intending to kill himself was considered distasteful and tone-deaf. Also, White’s death attempt did not end there as he later drank a box full of rat poison on January 6, 2006, followed by trying to hang himself nine days later.
